About MakeThing.

MakeThing is a demonstration of the power of function representation (FRep) and its usefulness for simplified and web-based modeling applications. The focus of this MakeThing is not beautiful virtual reality models, rather it demonstrates extremely accurate and simplified shape modeling.

MakeThing resulted from a collaboration with Mythworks and HyperFun, and the Digital Materialization Group.

In the future this site may include the ability for people to add their own models.
